“Once you decide what you want in a relationship you must make an active plan to achieve it.”

In order for us to do this, we must set realistic goals and continue with the plan. This entails monitoring what is working for you and what is not working.

So how exactly do we know what is working?

1. Buy a notebook or the Love Rules Book

  • This book has blank spaces which can be used to record your thoughts. 
  • “Studies prove that you retain more information by physically writing it down using paper and a pen.

2. Use a computer, iPad, tablet, or mobile app

  • If you are using a computer app check for decorative templates to use for your Microsoft or word documents. 
  • If you are using a mobile app choose one that is attractive and colorful. This will make writing in it enjoyable and will make you want to write in it and actually get used to doing it every day.

Once you’ve got your method of journalism it’s time to start writing. In your journal, the book asks you to answer some questions. I answered a few of these questions openly and honestly here so that it may possibly give you the courage to start a journal of your own. This website gave me the option to start a blog which I will need to stay dedicated to. What better way could I do that than by starting here?

Answer the following questions:

1. What do you want more of in your love life?

Communication is one thing that I could say I want more of in my love life. I tend to shy always from communicating early on in relationships. I will be the first to admit it. Sadly, I love to talk! This is probably because it is very easy to put guys in the friend zone if you talk too often. It is also VERY easy to assume that you are in love with someone just because you talk to each other every day. Sex would be the second thing on my list because honestly, who wants to have sex without being in love?

2. Fun sex without obligation to call them after?

Let’s be truthful here. Plenty of people have casual hookups with no intentions of speaking to each other afterward. Lots of working people don’t necessarily have time for real relationships because they are always so busy. PLUS, truth be told both men and women alike are ANNOYING. Yes, I said it. 

3. Do you want more laughter or more trust?

I laugh at men who say “I’m not like other guys. Trust me.” Most guys in this day and age use that same exact line. Now I cannot possibly place all men in the same category but this is a well known FACT. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

4. Someone to travel or explore with?

Yes. How else would we go on our first date? With that being said, let’s be honest once again. There are some creepers out there in this world. We aren’t as willing to just jump on a plane or hop in a car with a complete stranger. But we do so LET’S GO! I mean really how else would you get to the love of your life without traveling? If you’re waiting on giving birth to your lover you still have 9 months to wait. And truth be told not all parents fall in love with their kids!

5. Netflix and chill with?

Ummm… This is a straight shot to the friend zone believe it or not. If the friend zone isn’t the goal then you plan on going to bed with them either before or during the Netflix show. Totally not after especially if you didn’t enjoy the experience!

6. Someone to help you get over the heartbreak of your most recent breakup?

Okay, I have done this before. We all probably have not been looking for new love or a new relationship, just something to do. It’s not the right thing to do because that person may be looking for love. They may also be looking for something long-term and you just want to fill a void. This causes most of the issues people have in relationships today. It works for a few moments but once the initial rush is over both parties end up in hurt places. That is NEVER a good thing.

7. Someone to marry in the next year or so and start a family with?

Yes. That is the goal for most of us but it doesn’t always work out that way. I haven’t quite decided on the whole marriage thing yet. A family is on the table though. Most men and women have children early on in life so marriage thing tends to complicate relationships. 

“ It doesn’t matter where you are in life or how old you are, figuring out what you want and needs in a partner at this specific time in life will help you focus your search.”

In the book, they describe a scenario that may seem familiar to the best of us regardless of your occupation, relationship status, or how much you enjoyed your time together. The scenario is something like this in as few words as possible:

Boy meets girl. They plan to hook up. They get together and right after the encounter one or the other breaks the news. “ I had a great time but I am not currently looking for anything serious. I hope you understand.” A mutual agreement is agreed upon but most times one person is always looking for something other than what they agreed to. This is mainly because you may have had a great time with the person and would love to do it again but that was it for one party. 

“ We have no classes, schooling, or relationship intelligence because we are somehow supposed to have all that under control as if circumstances will one day organically present us with the perfect partner.”

That may be wishful thinking but it rarely ever happens if it happens at all. It is much easier for us to change other aspects of our lives faster than it is to change romantic partners especially after you start having children.

Ingredients:

2 boxes Vanilla Wafers

6 to 8 bananas, sliced

2 cups milk

1 (5 oz.) box French Vanilla pudding

1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese

1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk

1 (12 oz.) container frozen whipped topping thawed, or sweetened whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Start by first lining the bottom of a 13×9 inch baking dish with one full bag of Vanilla Wafers. Layer some of the sliced bananas on top. Apply as many or as few as desired.
  2. In one of the bowls, combine the milk and pudding mix. Blend well using a handheld electric mixer. If you do not have this tool a whisk will do the job.
  3. Using the other bowl, combine the cream cheese and condensed milk together. Mix this together until it is smooth.
  4. Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Add the cream cheese mixture to the pudding mixture and stir until well blended.
  6. Pour the mixture over the cookies and add banana slices on top. Add more cookies over top of the bananas. Pour more of the mixture over the cookies. Cover with the remaining cream cheese mixture with the remaining cookies.
  7. Place the baking dish filled with your banana pudding in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
  8. Slice or scoop onto plate or bowl and ENJOY!

Why Do Bananas Turn Brown?

When you think of this fruit you think of a bright yellow half moon-shaped fruit with a soft solid creamy tummy. This may be true for a few days depending on when, where, and how long you own them. Over time they change colors, and with the change of color the taste changes as well. (As stated above)

Naturally, when Bananas are ripe they change colors. When first cultivated and shipped to the store they tend to be more of a greenish color. As they begin to ripen they turn into a more yellowish color. As they further ripen you may notice small freckle-like spots on the outside.

The longer they are in the ripening process the more they undergo the color change eventually turning into a dark brownish black color. If you place this fruit into the freezer it will automatically turn brown upon freezing.

What Causes The Browning?

Bananas are equipped with a gas called ethylene which sends signals to the banana that lets it know when it should begin to mature. With the help of oxygen, it transforms the color and texture allowing it to soften and mature. Mixing bananas with other fruits will also speed up the ripening process so be sure to pay attention to those as well. 

Storage

Be sure to keep your bananas at room temperature. If you purchase a bunch and they aren’t ripe, place them inside a paper bag to speed up the process. Once they are ripe they will be good for a few days. I suggest you only do this for the amount you will be using at that given time.

Bananas tend to darken very quickly. Although that makes them a lot sweeter many people do not want to consume them because they tend to be ultra soft and mushy.

With the summer coming to a close we start to prepare ourselves for the fall season. In 2022, the first day of fall is on Thursday, September 22. This date only applies to the people who live in the Northern Hemisphere.

What is the most important part of the fall season? Probably the holidays that come with it including many of our favorites Halloween and Thanksgiving. Other holidays that are celebrated during the fall season are Columbus Day and Veteran’s Day. Kick off the fall season with this collection of Halloween Ideas.

Decorations

When it comes down to Halloween many people think a costume is all that you need for the celebration. Maybe adding a bit of makeup to create a Halloween look will do the trick. While that may be true for some, that’s not necessarily how to properly get in the holiday spirit. Decorations bring the fall holidays to life. (Maybe not, if we intend to be scary.) Here is a collection of my favorite holiday decor.

Costumes

What would you say was your favorite part about Halloween besides getting candy? If you are anything like me of course it would be the costumes during the festivities. Whether it be scary or sweet it’s always a treat! Many people spend all year deciding what they want to be for Halloween.

You can randomly choose a costume or you can do diligent planning for the look. People who LOOOVE the Holiday definitely tend to go way over the top in this area for good reason. I will NOT complain. The most popular costumes for pets are the pumpkin, followed by the hot dog, and the bumble bee in third place. Here is a collection of my favorite costumes.

Movies

Not sure what movies to watch this fall? Well, hold tight to your seats this year because some of these movies will be FRIGHTENING. If your favorite part of the holiday season is scary movies be sure to check the list below. Usually, there will be a “countdown to Halloween” special playing on most television networks during that time this fall.

The TV channel Freeform (dating back to when it was known as Fox Family) annually presented its special “13 Nights of Halloween” with specialized Halloween episodes of regularly scheduled programs. This was to include Halloween specials and movies to play for the 13 nights leading up to October 31.

Treats

Popcorn or candy? Such a hard decision to make during this time. While we ought not to give the kids candy we take them to go trick o treating. If you are one of the parents who prefer not to give their children sweets (Especially due to age limits) The collection below is a great alternative. Fruits and other nutritional snacks can be decorated and revamped for a special spooky Halloween treat.

Drinks

Welcome guests young and old this Halloween with a cup “Bloove”. Use this time to test out different flavors of drinks. Experiment with drink toppers, silly straws, and creepy cups. This will be the perfect timing to get those creative juices flowing. The most popular drink during the season, in my opinion, would be the “Bloody Mary”.

It is the most thought about for its color but I would prefer to have something a bit more creative. With that being said I will also say that most drinks that are “Over the top” May not taste the best. This is probably due to the fact that many people are more concerned about using the drinks as a prop or decorations and not necessarily as a beverage.

Nails

You can never get enough of good nail polish or nail design for that matter. But who doesn’t love Halloween nail art? I know I sure do. This is always the most fun to do and a great way to finish off your Halloween look. Even if you aren’t all in with the costume or decorations, Halloween nails will be a good way to show that you are at least trying to get into the spirit of things. Some of my favorite designs are in the collection linked below. I am totally OBSESSED, sounds pretty creepy, doesn’t it?

Makeup

Okay, so we have our homes, offices, and cars decorated. Already picked out our Halloween costumes, set the DVR, and made some treats. Poured ourselves a liquid death and hammered at our nails. Queen Elizabeth the world’s longest-serving monarch passed away at the age of 96. It is noted that the Queen died peacefully at the Balmoral Castle in Scotland according to the royal family.

Originally born Elizabeth Alexandra Mary, she was Queen of the United Kingdom and 14 other Commonwealth realms. Her initial reign of 70 years and 214 days was by far the longest of any British monarch in history. This reign was from February 6, 1952, until her untimely death this Thursday, September 8, 2022. It was also the second longest recorded reign of any monarch of a sovereign country in history.

Tributes To The Queen

The most famous building in Manhattan will be bathed in regal colors this Thursday night in a tribute to the late longtime monarch.  Queen Elizabeth was often photographed wearing the color purple, a color closely associated with royalty and wealth for centuries. This is mainly due to the fact that the dye once needed to produce it was very rare and expensive.

The White House lowered its flag to half-staff in honor of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday. The lowering, which was captured on video shortly before 3:30 p.m. ET, came just moments after President Biden released his official statement on the monarch’s passing.

Pope Francis sent a letter Thursday to King Charles after the death of Queen Elizabeth, paying tribute to his mother’s “steadfast witness of faith” and offering prayers.

“Deeply saddened to learn of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, I offer heartfelt condolences,” the pope wrote in a telegram. “I willingly join all who mourn her loss in praying for the late Queen’s eternal rest and in paying tribute to her life of unstinting service.”

What is an Heir Presumptive?

Elizabeth was born in Mayfair London, as the first child of the Duke and Duchess of York. Her father acceded to the throne in 1936 upon the abdication of his brother, King Edward VIII, making Elizabeth the heir presumptive. This describes an heir who stands to inherit the estate, title, or office of an intestate ancestor. Their claim can be defeated if a relative who is closer to the ancestor is born prior to the ancestor’s death.

During her grandfather’s reign, Elizabeth was third in the line of succession to the British throne, behind her uncle Edward and her father. Although her birth generated public interest, she was not expected to become queen. This was thought to be so since her uncle Edward was still young and likely to marry. He was also suspected to bear children of his own, who would precede Elizabeth in the line of succession.

She was the 32nd great-granddaughter of King Alfred the Great, England’s first monarch. He reigned from 871 to 899. When her grandfather died in the year of 1936 her uncle succeeded as Edward VIII. She then became second in line to the throne, after her father. Later that year, her uncle abdicated, after his proposed marriage to divorced socialite. This in turn provoked a constitutional crisis amongst the royal family.

Following this crisis, Elizabeth’s father took the throne and became king. He then adopted the regnal name George VI. Queen Elizabeth had no male sibling which allowed her to become the heir presumptive. If her parents had given birth to a male child he would have been heir apparent. This would obviously place him above her in the line of succession. This process was determined by male-preference primogeniture at the time.

The Royal Years

During the year of 1940, Elizabeth made her first radio broadcast at the ripe age of 14 during the BBC’s Children’s Hour. This broadcast was created to address other children who had been evacuated from the cities.

In 1943, Elizabeth undertook her first solo public appearance on a visit to the Grenadier Guards, which she had been appointed as a colonel the previous year. As she approached her 18th birthday, parliament changed the law so she could act as one of five Counsellors of State. This would be beneficial in the event of her father’s incapacity or absence abroad.

She celebrated six jubilees, her 25th, 40th, 50th, 60th, 65th, and 70th years on the throne, as well as the marriages of her four children and the births of eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. In 2015, Elizabeth overtook her great-great-grandmother Queen Victoria to become the oldest and longest-reigning British monarch.

Her Marriage & Family Life

Elizabeth fell in love with Philip Mountbatten after meeting for the third time at the Royal Naval College in Dartmouth. Their engagement was announced on July 9, 1947. This was yet another controversial marriage amongst the royal family. Philip had no financial standing, and was foreign-born. He also had sisters who had married German noblemen who had alleged links to the Nazi party.

Shortly before the wedding, he was created Duke of Edinburgh and granted the style of His Royal Highness. Elizabeth and Philip were married on November 20, 1947, at the Westminster Abbey. Elizabeth gave birth to her first child, Prince Charles, on November 14, 1948. A second child, Princess Anne, was born on 15 August 1950. They had four children together. Prince Andrew, Duke of York; and Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex included.

In 1952, Elizabeth and Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, began a tour of Australia and New Zealand by stopping in Africa. While they were in Kenya, the news reached them on Feb. 6 that King George had died. At age 25, Elizabeth ascended to the throne and was crowned the following year in the first live television coronation to be broadcast around the world.

In May 2017, just a month before Philip’s 96th birthday, Buckingham Palace announced that the duke was retiring from his royal duties as of September. He later died at age 99 on April 9, 2021. It is noted that the 16th anniversary of the marriage of Prince Charles and Camilla, and the duke’s funeral was four days before Elizabeth’s 95th birthday on April 21.

On June 20th the queen planted a specially bred rose named the Duke of Edinburgh in Windsor Castle’s East Terrace Garden. This would have been the day of her husband’s 100th birthday.

If for business it allows you to understand your target audience and possibly gain new customers.

How To Build Your Best Pinterest Following

1. Organize Existing Boards

This process does not have to be done all at once. This can be broken down into several different stages. I would suggest organizing the boards that get the least amount of impressions from your following first. Why would you do that? This should be done for many reasons.

The reason this should be done first is due to the fact that your highest ranking boards are stable. Why are they doing well? Because people are searching for those items and following your boards. The reason why your other boards aren’t doing so well might be due to the fact that they lack organization. By doing this you may possibly increase traffic to your cold boards. A cold board is basically a board that doesn’t get much traffic, views, or engagement.

Start off by quickly browsing the existing board. Check to see which type of pins you have the most of. After you do that click the button above the board pins that says “Organize”. This allows you to select one or multiple pins to add to a different section on that board or another. Once added to the particular section they can be reordered and rearranged as well. Repeat this step for the rest of your pins and the following boards.

Board visibility is basically how you want your boards to be seen. Some boards you may want to be public right away. On other boards, you may be in the process of reorganizing. Some might contain personal pins you may want to keep secret.

In order to change the visibility of your boards simply click on the board. Go to the top near the title and click the edit board tab. This will bring up all the options you have such as title etc. Clicking the box that says “Keep this board secret” will allow the board to only be seen by you and the people you allow. Of course, making a board public will be in your best interest when building your Pinterest presence.

3. Use Well-Detailed Keywords

Detailed keywords are basically describing the board topic. This is extremely important when it comes down to your engagements. Engagements include impressions, saves, and clicks. This information is useful and determining how users interact with your posted content. When browsing most people don’t see the complete board you created on their home feed. At most, they probably only see one or two of your pins. This is why you want your impressions to turn into engagements.

Properly wording your boards and sections, allows the consumer an accurate pathway to the information. This will also be great for additional engagement because one pin will lead them to your board, which would lead to other pins. (In that category of course.) Make sure that your boards are organized as stated above. If an impression for a cupcake leads the user to your board you want it to be a bakery or food board. A cupcake pin should not take them to a board about hair products. This will be one reason why the impressions and engagements on your cupcake pin is low.

Football season is here. The NFL Preseason is already coming to a close with the start of week one Thursday, September 8, 2022. The Buffalo Bills are scheduled to play the Los Angeles Rams. What better way to celebrate the football season other than with Classic Football movies? This list is sure to pump you up and prepare you for that Superbowl Championship party!

The movies on this list are full of drama and comedy. Some of them are based on a true story while others depict fictional characters in real-life situations. I hope these movies give you the kickstart you need for a new career or refresh those mid-season pep talks. These movies can be found in stores, at the local library, or on popular streaming sites like Netflix, Hulu, Starz, Tubi, HBO Max etc.

1. Friday Night Lights

Based on Buzz Bissinger’s 1990 book Friday Night Lights: A Town, a Team, and a Dream. Friday Night Lights captures the outsized influence of high school football in Texas, while also being a really engrossing sports drama.

The center of the movie is about a great Texas high school football team that loses its star quarterback to a knee injury. The sad event took a toll on the team but they persevere under the leadership of his backup.

The story of Michael Oher, whom is a homeless and traumatized boy. He became an All-American football player and first-round NFL draft pick with the help of a caring woman and her family.

3. Radio

In a racially divided town, Coach Jones spots a mentally disabled African-American student named Radio. While hanging out near his practice field Coach Jones is inspired to befriend him. After multiple interactions Radio turns into Coach Jones’ loyal assistant. Principal Daniels happily notes that Radio’s self-confidence is skyrocketing after gaining such a position.

While this is an exciting time in his life, things start to sour. Coach Jones begins taking heat from fans who feel his devotion to Radio is getting in the way of the team’s quest for a championship. I won’t spoil the ending but this is a great, heartwarming film with its depiction of how having a disability can change from tumultuous to triumph.

4. The Waterboy

In the movie, Adam Sandler plays the main character  Bobby Boucher. He is a 31-year-old man who is a Momma’s boy. The majority of his time is spent hanging around as the waterboy for the University of Louisiana football team. In the midst of a flashback about all the bullying he’s suffered over the years, Bobby viciously tackles the quarterback during practice one day. After witnessing this event the coach realizes he might have a knack for the sport. Bobby becomes a player on the team and the ending is one of those “You have to see it to believe it” type endings. This is definitely one of my favorite movies. It’s hilariously funny, heartwarming, and passionate. 

5. We Are Marshall

We Are Marshall is the heartbreaking and inspiring story of how the Marshall football program recovered after a traddy. After losing 75 people associated with the team (37 players) in a plane crash in 1970. Jack Lengyel is the coach who’s brought in to pick up the pieces. Alongside Jack,  William “Red” Dawson, assists with the help. He was one of the surviving members of the coaching staff who hadn’t been on the plane.

The film chronicles the struggles of the subsequent games for the Marshall Thundering Herd. This is before culminating in a triumphant win that brings all the feelings of loss to a head. It’s an incredibly emotional tear-jerker movie that is every bit worth the watch. Yes, it is safe to cry while watching this movie I am NOT ashamed.

6. The Longest Yard

When a disgraced pro football quarterback lands in jail, a manipulative Warden recruits him to advise the institution’s team. This turns into a lead role for him, quarterbacking a crew of inmates in a game against a team of prison guards. Aided by incarcerated ex-NFL coach Nate Scarborough, Paul Crewe and his team must overcome many obstacles. This includes the bloodthirstiness of the opposition and the corrupt officials trying to fix the game against them.

7. Gridiron Gang

Gridiron Gang tells the partially true story of the Kilpatrick Mustangs. They are a football team run by a juvenile detention camp. The camp was created as a way to give the kids at the facility something to feel good about. From there, it’s your usual fare of a bunch of conflicts leading up to a big game. The good guys miraculously pull out at the very end. 

8. The Longshots

This movie is mainly about a down-on-his-luck former football player named Curtis Plummer. He then becomes the new coach of the Minden, Illinois, Pop Warner football team. His niece Jasmine is installed as the team’s quarterback and secret weapon for the team.This gives Curtis has a chance to turn his life around, while the residents of have a chance to recapture their team spirit and civic pride.

9. All The Right Moves

All the Right Moves was one of the early breakout performances by Tom Cruise in the ‘80s. He plays a high school defensive back who’s trying to get a college scholarship, but finds himself blackballed by his coach. 

The movie capitalizes on the cultural popularity and ubiquity of high school football in the U.S. It’s immediately understood that football is at the center of what happens in the small Pennsylvania town where it’s set. It’s also immediately clear that football might be the only way out for Stefen Djordjevic if he doesn’t want to spend the rest of his life working at the local mill. 

10. Draft Day

Draft Day, is a movie that capitalizes on the strange success of the NFL Draft as a television event. This movie humanizes the people involved with the Draft. We’re so used to thinking of athletes, especially NFL athletes, as commodities. This movie helps us remember that these guys are real people. Whether you like football or not, Draft Day is a fun and exciting movie to watch.

11. Any Given Sunday

Is known as the gold standard of football movies. Lots of football movies have great action, lots of movies have sports-related drama. Lots of these movies have meaningful drama. Any Given Sunday is one of the few that puts all of these things together. In addition to being such an excellent film, it captures the dark side of the big business that is the National Football League (NFL) while still feeling like a celebration of the sport. 

12. Remember the Titans

It tells the story of real-life coach Herman Boone and the work that came along with integrating a high school football team in Virginia in 1971. It’s an optimistic vision of racial harmony while also being allowed to take a look at what sports, at their peak, can do for groups of people who might not otherwise get along. 

13. The Express

Ernie Davis, the main character is born into poverty. Despite that, he overcomes many obstacles to get into Syracuse University’s football program. Under the guidance of Coach Ben Schwartzwalder, Ernie Davis becomes one of the school’s best players. In 1961 Ernie Davis becomes the first black player to win the Heisman Trophy, but there is one more obstacle in his life that he must overcome.

Without ruining another good ending and giving you play-for-play information about the movie this is definitely a movie that you need to watch. It has great historical moments and is perfect for high school kids who are destined to step foot into the National League. Add this to your collection of Black History Month Moments worthy of praise.

14. Rudy

Based on real life, Rudy is the story of Daniel “Rudy” Ruettiger. Rudy grows up worshiping the Notre Dame football team — he even spends time memorizing and acting out the aforementioned “win one for the Gipper” speech from Knute Rockne, An all-American. 

His only goal in life is to play football at Notre Dame, and through an absurd amount of perseverance, for one shining moment he gets to do just that. Rudy is really the quintessential football movie because it’s a movie about loving football. One of the most charming things about it is that we never even really understand why Rudy loves it so much he just does, and we believe him. That kind of pure joy is the fuel that powers any good sports movie, and it’s a huge part of why we love them so much.

15. Varsity blues

Varsity Blues is a 1999 American coming-of-age sports comedy-drama film that follows a small-town high school football team through a tumultuous season. During the film the players must deal with the pressures of adolescence and their football-obsessed community while having their overbearing coach constantly on their back. In the small fictional town of West Canaan, Texas, football is a way of life and losing is not an option.

16. The Replacements

The Replacements is a 2000 American and British sports comedy film. The movie is based on the 1987 NFL strike, specifically the Washington Redskins, who won all three replacement games without any of their regular players and went on to win Super Bowl XXII. Late in the season, the playoffs are fast approaching and the Washington Sentinels have just gone on strike.

Scrambling for a solution, the Sentinels’ owner Edward O’Neil hatches a plan to bring in legendary coach Jimmy McGinty to recruit a team of replacement players in exactly one week. For fans and owners alike, the strike is a disaster. But for Shane Falco and a mismatched crew of outsiders, it is the second chance they’ve waited their whole lives for.

3 Free Printable Weekly Planner Templates

With so many things to do and so little time to do them, let’s just say we all need a little help. This can be quickly done by using a weekly planner or journal. In most cases, we don’t typically purchase these things because we assume we don’t really need them. While lonely sheets of looseleaf paper, previously opened envelopes, and sticky notes work they can be hard to keep track of.

One way to properly view all the things we need to do is using a PLANNER. I think we went over that already but I will say it again. These templates will be good for keeping up with grocery shopping, doctors appointments and important dates and deadlines.

I suggest using printable templates to help combat these minor issues. Using a printable template is the same thing as using a planner. What makes this more convenient is that there are tons of them available! They allow you to pick and choose the style, theme, size, and form.

They can be downloaded and edited to create the perfect plan that fits your specific needs. Also, these can be used with a hole puncher and stored in a binder for safekeeping and easy access. You can use one when you need it and save the rest for later use.

What is a Weekly Planner Template?

A template is a prepared guideline that can be used to create and organize your daily tasks. Digital daily planner templates are editable and reusable. This makes it easier to organize your work, and tasks by including what needs to get done and when they need to be completed. It allows you to add and omit sections of the template that you may or may not need.

Weekly Planner One:

This weekly planner template is one of my absolute favorites! I like this template because it is color coded and aesthetically pleasing. Start this template by adding the month you will be using it. Add the day range for the week you will be starting and include the year. This sheet can be used for only the week listed on the sheet. When using this form you can save this sheet to be used this ONE time but it can be reused for the future as well. Let’s use a National Holiday for example. (This will be used for the remaining sections of the template)

The week of Monday- Sunday should include the things that you need to remember for that day. This should be where you list reminders for the week and things that need to get done. This can include Birthdays, appointments, Vacations, travel dates, or list things you need to do those days. If you are creating this to be used reoccurring list each of the things you plan on doing on the same day of the week regardless of the day range.

The to-do, list, and notes section can vary depending on your needs. If you will be using this template for the holidays add things you typically do during that week to help you form a traditional holiday event plan if you don’t have one already. This completed template is an example. I did NOT fully think this through I simply added a few things for informational purposes only.

Weekly Planner Two:

This planner is another one of my favorite planners. This planner has all the days of the week and breaks the week down into specific time increments. This would be a good planner for moms, stay-at-home, moms, and business planners. It allows you to specifically select what time frame you want to get things done.

Use this template if you need to schedule when the kids need to be up in the morning, picked up from afterschool, sporting event dates, field trips parent-teacher conferences, etc. For those businesses that take clients or need to follow strict deadlines, this planner will be very helpful. You can post it up in your office, use it at your cubicle desk or place it in your binder and store it at your workstation table.
